Meet Pamela

Bienvenue ! I’m delighted to have you here.

I’m Pamela, the voice behind The Parisialite. I was born in Hawaii, raised between France and the U.S., and have called Paris home for much of my adult life. From the Left Bank, I share a curated mix of Parisian culture, style, and everyday elegance — always with a personal lens.

Whether you’re here to discover under-the-radar boutiques, navigate French social nuances, or simply daydream of Paris, you’re in the right place.

Thank you for stopping by — I hope you stay a while.

FAQ

I live on the Left Bank of Paris, close to Le Jardin du Luxembourg. Saint-Germain-des-Prés is my home turf and where I do most of my wandering, writing, and people-watching.

It changes with the seasons, but lately I’m loving Le Récamier for lunch, Patrick Roger for chocolate, and Marin Montagut for whimsical home decor. I keep a running list on the blog and in my guides.

I’m a repeat offender at Isabel Marant, APC, Vanessa Bruno, and a few smaller labels you’ll find in my Saint-Germain shopping guide. I believe in buying less, but better.

It can be, but not always in the way Instagram makes it seem. I write a lot about the unpolished sides of Paris, the everyday elegance, and the cultural quirks — subscribe to my newsletter if you’re curious.

Not yet, but I’m working on new digital guides and resources. If you want first access when they launch, join my newsletter — I always share with subscribers first.
